·       Learn when to ignore and when to attend your pooch
There are times when dogs just tend to behave hyper actively to seek their pet parent’s attention. So, try to learn differentiating between their attention seeking attitude and agitation. If you feel that something is really causing him to panic, immediately attend your pooch. And in another case, ignore his barks and de-motivate him for such a behavior.

·       Thunder, storms, fireworks, etc.- Try these tips
Loud noises and unreliable situations like a thunderstorm and fireworks may disturb your dog’s peace badly. It is natural for pet parents to want to cuddle and hold their pups in such conditions. But, try not to do that! Instead, put your furry friend in his crate where he may feel safe and protected. Keep the crate in your living room or where he gets familiar scents. A pillow and treats in the crate may definitely cool him to a major extent.

·       A bad experience may be haunting your pooch
Sometimes, it may happen that your normally sweet canine gets irritated and angered when you take him to the place where he must have had a fight with someone or any other disturbing experience. In such cases, be at your furry friend’s side until he feels safe. Distract him by taking him for a walk or a fetch game. This will soothe him and make him feel confident about the place.

·       Lavender- A calming scent for dogs
What could cause a chaos in a pup’s head? Dogs usually define their world by different scents. So, probably a soothing scent may help them to cool off and get composed. The smell of Lavender is found relaxing to humans. It also has the potential to calm pooches in their excited state. Use such scents to calm your companions in such conditions. Moreover, consult a professional to know which smells may work for your pawed friends.

To conclude, the pet parents may need different ideas to calm the angered and agitated dogs. Try these tips to calm your canine’s hyperactive behavior and have fun!
